For a taste of London’s most bohemian past head to the historical East End where Wilde Aparthotels has opened a 106-apartment property on Liverpool Street. Wilde London Liverpool Street offers various room types to suit all, sleeping from two to four people, with some boasting a balcony and terrace with views of the stunning London skyline.

All apartments have fully fitted kitchens with space to dine, relax or work. Luxury touches include a Nespresso coffee machine and Smeg kettle, touch control panels for lighting, air conditioning, towel rails and blinds, a super-comfy XL-sized bed, rainfall shower and high-quality bed linen. Guests can use a QR code to check in and out or contact the reception team. There’s also 24-hour reception, a guest laundry and access to a nearby gym.

The aparthotel’s design is retro-lifestyle inspired, harmonising with its historic surroundings, featuring interiors adorned with artworks, crafts and ceramics by London artists, hand-crafted tiles, traditional Crittall screens, inventive lighting and distinctive furniture.

Savour a local London gin & tonic at the feature bar or choose from an à la carte menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with dishes prepared from locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast options include toasted banana bread, granola and frittata, while snacks and cheese and charcuterie platters are available all day, alongside heartier fare like slow-cooked beef chili, cauliflower butter masala, or the London classic, pie, mash & liquor.

The coffee shop serves barista-crafted coffee throughout the day using beans from UK specialty roaster Workshop Coffee and there’s a self-service store offering gourmet meal kits and artisanal snacks. Guests can also pre-order food and beverages to fill their apartment’s fridge.

Wilde is conveniently located a mere five-minute stroll from Liverpool Street Station, with access to the Elizabeth Line, and ten minutes from the bustling Spitalfields and Shoreditch districts.

This establishment is the fourth Wilde property by the Staycity Group in London, with others in Aldgate, Covent Garden and Paddington. Wilde also operates in Berlin, Edinburgh and Manchester with additional locations due to open in Cambridge, Oxford, Lisbon and Porto.
