City Cruises London will start sailing along the Thames from 20 May 2021. To mark its reopening, in line with government lockdown easing, the company will offer two-for-one sightseeing tickets as well as giving 100 tickets for free to NHS workers, in May.

Kyle Haughton, Managing Director of City Cruises, said, “We are looking forward to welcoming our passengers back on-board following time apart during England’s latest lockdown. We also wanted to take this time to give back to our amazing NHS, who have been phenomenal in their service to the country over the past year.

“Additionally, we wanted to offer our guests a little something to show them how much we have missed them since we closed our doors, which is why we introduced the two for the price of one offer.”

The two-for-one offer is valid between 20 May and 27 May.

All cruises will have social distancing measures in order to ensure the safety of passengers. With an absence of tourists this could enable Londoners to see the city from the Thames like never before.

“Passenger and staff safety remains our number one priority which means social distancing measures will remain in place to allow customers to enjoy our cruises in an environment they feel confident in,” said Haughton.

City Cruises London has reduced the number of passengers on each sailing. There are also signs indicating which seats are not available. Those wishing to enjoy the ‘fresh’ air of London can take advantage of the open top deck, where the numerous London attractions and landmarks can be viewed.
