Eline Arbo’s The Years will run at The Almeida Theatre from 27 July to 31 August.
This is the UK premier of of Eline Arbo’s De jaren adapted from Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux’s novel, The Years. The English version is by Stephanie Bain. The original production of De jaren was performed by Het Nationale Theater in The Hague, Netherlands, in 2022.
The Years Plot
Five different actors bring one woman’s personal and political story to life, set against the backdrop of a rapidly changing post-war Europe.
The Years Cast
The Almeida Theatre production will feature Anjli Mohindra, Gina McKee, Deborah Findlay, Romola Garai and Harmony Rose-Bremner.
When Is The Years?
It will run from Saturday 27 July – Saturday 31 August at The Almeida Theatre.
