Held in Walpole Park, the Ealing Beer Festival each July is a highlight of the London borough’s series of summer events. This year marks the 30th anniversary of what is the UK’s capital’s largest outdoor Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) beer festival.
Organised by CAMRA’s West Middlesex Branch, more than 500 real ales will be on offer. These come from a wide range of breweries across the UK, in a variety of strengths and styles to suit all tastes. If real ale is not your thing, there will also be copious quantities of cider and perry, as well as foreign beers and English wine.
Each night, bands from London and further afield will perform for you, and there will be a range of food from goulash to fish finger sandwiches and cheese toasties, to sausages and pies. These showcase local and small-scale food producers and help soak up all the alcohol.
On Friday, 12 July at 1:30pm, Christine Cryne will host a beer and wine tasting, paring five cheeses with five beers for £15.
The festival highlights the quality and range of Britain’s finest ales, and furthers the objectives of CAMRA’s campaign.

CAMRA Ealing Beer Festival Dates
The 30th festival will take place between 10 and 13 July 2019, from noon to 10:30pm each day, except on the Saturday when festivities will wrap up by 6pm.
CAMRA Ealing Beer Festival Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the event, but priority tickets costing £18, which include £10-worth of beer vouchers, a Festival glass and programme can be purchased here. CAMRA members receive a discount.
The Festival is part of a great summer of frivolity in London that includes the Soho Music Month throughout June and the Notting Hill Carnival at the end of August.
